We are looking for Machine Operator for our client in Braintree, MA

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Location: Braintree, MA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $18hr - $23hr
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Basic mechanical and computer skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a clean room environment with full body gowning.
  • Experience with chemical handling and safety protocols.
  • Adherence to strict grooming standards: no jewelry (except wedding bands), makeup, hair spray, or perfume.
  • Comfortable working with biological materials including cow hide.
  • Proficiency working with computers.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate various pieces of computer-controlled equipment including swiss lathes, automated parts washer, grinders, honing, centerless grinder, and supporting tools.
  • Use measurement equipment to machine various components to established specifications and requirements.
  • Complete tasks including dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications including First Article inspections.
  • Perform operations as described by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Demonstrate consistently effective job performance encompassing quality, productivity, and dependability.
  • Accurately record and enter required information and data into manufacturing documentation and computers.
  • Maintain quality inspection data and individual training records.
  • Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO and FDA regulations.
  • Complete all applicable training requirements.

  • Working knowledge with Citizen Lathes, Haas Grinders, Sunnen Hone, Centerless Grinders, and Fanuc Robotics.
  • Knowledge and experience working with computer-controlled equipment.
  • Precision machining experience.
  • Experience working with the inspection and functional testing of manufactured components.
  • Experience working with medical products.
  • Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or another regulated environment.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on various types of machine equipment.
  • Ability to perform and record measurements using dial indicators, depth micrometers, verniers, shadowgraph, and gauges.
