Job description

What You Will Do
In this role, you will work remotely and travel from home. As an Account Territory Representative, you will travel mostly within your assigned region of Portland, Seattle, Northern California and Salt Lake City. You are the person that shows our national accounts how much we appreciate and support them working closely with their Regional Leadership. You will be their guide to promote retail sales of our products, reduce returns, train associates, check testing equipment, monitor POS compliance, and foster goodwill.

How You Will Do It
  • Build relationships with regional leadership and retail store contacts
  • Assist with retail store merchandising to ensure proper layout, signage, pricing, and cataloging
  • Teach and watch over testing protocols
  • Conduct Install sales calls with Territory Sales Managers to grow commercial sales volume and customer base.
  • Attend our customer functions such as trade shows, open houses and regional/national meetings
  • Attend sales market blitzes inside and outside of your assigned territory to support account related sales growth
  • Other field assigned and related tasks

What We Look For
Required
  • MOST IMPORTANT: we are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, high energy, strong communication skills, problem solving skills, integrity and self-motivation...that enjoy traveling!
  • Must be located within assigned territory of: Portland, Seattle, Northern California or Salt Lake City.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a sales or customer facing role
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within your geographic territory and Nationwide. Travel is typically Monday through Thursday with about one week a month designated as a non-travel week.

Preferred
  • Previous automotive parts sales experience is preferred (or we will teach you!)

This position provides an annual salary and is eligible for an annual target bonus. This is NOT a sales/commission-based position.

For residents of New York City, New York, California, and Washington state only, as required under applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position if filled remotely is $60,000-88,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Clarios' variable pay program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
