About This Job

Join our team as a Parts Counterperson specializing in Honda vehicles. In this vital role, you serve as the primary point of contact for both internal technicians and external customers, ensuring they receive the correct parts efficiently. You contribute directly to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our service department by accurately identifying, locating, and processing Honda parts. Your expertise helps maintain our high standards of service and supports our commitment to quality.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identifies and retrieves specific Honda Parts for service technicians and customers, ensuring accuracy.
  • Utilizes electronic catalogs and parts diagrams for precise Parts Identification.
  • Provides exceptional Customer Service, assisting customers with inquiries, offering product information, and resolving parts-related issues.
  • Assists with Inventory Management, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Processes parts orders, returns, and special requests efficiently using established procedures.
  • Maintains clear and effective Communication Skills with customers, service advisors, and technicians to coordinate parts delivery and availability.
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of Automotive Parts to recommend appropriate components and accessories.
  • Operates Point of Sale (POS) Systems to complete transactions, generate invoices, and manage customer accounts.
  • Engages in proactive Sales efforts, promoting parts and accessories to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Performs accurate Data Entry for parts orders, inventory adjustments, and customer information.
Required QualificationsEducation
  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Demonstrates previous experience as a Parts Counterperson, specifically with Honda parts.
  • Has a proven track record of working in an automotive dealership or parts retail environment.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Possesses strong knowledge of Honda Parts and their applications.
  • Is proficient in Parts Identification using various catalogs and software.
  • Exhibits excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills.
  • Understands basic principles of Inventory Management.
