Cutting edge technology – Aborder provides BCBAs access to our Behavioral Health’s data collection systems, comprehensive programs, library template develop by Behavior Analysts, and the software includes behavioral support plan builders. These technologies streamline your clinical work (program implementation, BIP Implementation, program book) and allow clinical tasks to be finished with ease and efficiency.

BCBAs are considered for employment by Aborder Behavioral Health, LLC will meet the following requirements:

  • Board Certification
  • A master’s or doctorate level degree from an accredited university
  • Proof of certification from the BACB
  • Supervision requirements met
  • Abide by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code set forth by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board ®
  • In good standing with CEUs
  • No criminal history
  • Energetic, positive disposition
  • Able to lift at least 30lbs if necessary
  • Reliable transportation to homesite or worksite
  • Able to receive feedback
  • Able to work a consistent schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Google doc, google sheet, etc. )
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary clinical service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Provide RBTs with direct supervision for at least 15-20% of their monthly hours (Onsite & Remote)
  • Complete RBT competency checklist as needed to ensure quality, consistency, and continuity of service being provided
  • Preschedule service appointments within the approved prescribed treatment hours
  • Provide direct clinical support to assigned RBTs regarding participant problem behavior on an ongoing basis
  • Provide technical support to assigned RBTs concerning behavior programs on an ongoing basis
  • Oversee the programming for participant caseload
  • Develop treatment program goals utilizing the company’s behavioral management system
  • Write Behavior Reduction Plans, Functional Behavior Analysis, Behavior Intervention Plans, and other necessary reports
  • Submit treatment reports for each participant by the deadline indicated by the office or Clinical Director
  • Schedule monthly meetings for each participant during supervision to discuss participants’ progress with parent/caregiver
  • Collaborate and train parents using Behavior Skill Training (BST) on behavior techniques utilized in the home or community setting, conveying behavior in a way that is understandable
  • Ensure care coordination by collaborate with other providers or IEP team members
  • Continually monitor participant cases, data collection, staff development, data, transitions as necessary
  • Prepare transition reports or discharge plans if necessary
  • Keep a daily record of supervision of participants and RBTs while also recording billing hours for participants
  • Provide additional support, supervision and guidance to BCBA candidates and master program students, while observing and supervising them in person with participants and giving in-the-moment feedback.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the ABA Administration team to ensure all services are being provided to participants
  • Respond to office phone calls and work emails within 24 hours
  • Provide make-up sessions within the same week of service if there is a cancellation
  • Session notes must be completed within the service time (e.g. 15 minutes before ending services) in order to render/verify the service appointment
  • Ensure all appointments are both staff and parent verified daily
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Regular correspondences with parents when applicable.
  • Coordinate appointments for service delivery with parents/participant
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by their supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director
  • Attend any required phone calls or meetings held by Clinical Director, and read any company updates disseminated by Clinical Director
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA across service locations
  • Abide by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code set forth by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board ®
