Job description

The Middle Market Team Project Manager supports the divisional sales organization with the growth of Light Commercial, RAQA, Multi-Family, VRV and select large custom home projects by working closely with the COD sales organization and the HVAC contractor customers that participate in these segments.
Position Responsibilities may include;
• Provides product selection and quoting services to assist the divisional sales groups increase sales and meet assigned divisional goals.
• Manages projects from inception to completion, including liaising with all involved parties to ensure projects are accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provides support to customers, as well as sales and branch teams, ensuring that all stakeholders have the most up-to-date and accurate information about projects and the products involved.
• Prepares projects for closing by performing a final review and making sure all activities are complete, documented properly in the CRM, and communicated to both internal and external customers as necessary.
• Coordinates and communicates with all involved parties to develop submittals that are accurate and meet all project requirements.
• Ensures the Customer TSMs, Sales Leadership, Technical Support Managers, Credit Dept. and other relevant personnel collaborate to provide necessary support through timely and accurate equipment deliveries, project review meetings, and startup assistance.
• Tracks all projects in Salesforce ensuring that Project Opportunities are complete, and that any missing information or discrepancies are addressed before they become issues.
• Regarding Submittal Generation: Prepares submittals and sends them to the customer. Responds to all submittal rejections and re-submits revised submittals as necessary. Liaises with external vendors to confirm any issues with submittals and receive feedback. Liaises with contractors to address any requested changes. Uploads signed and approved submittals into Salesforce.
• Enters pertinent project information into Salesforce and tracks project timing requirements (both delivery, training timing, and assisted start-up timing if required).
• Prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and project requirements. Confers with customers, TSMs, and/or Application Specialist to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements for projects.
• Plans and modifies product configurations to meet customer needs. Recommends improved products or equipment to customers, specifying how such changes will lower costs or increase efficiency.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures as well as Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Performs additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Experience:
• 3-5 years industry experience or related industry experience
• Expertise to include HVAC certification and technical application
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent, relevant industry experience)

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
• Employees visiting customer sites would be subject to use of Personal Protective Equipment (i.e., safety glasses, etc.)
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Ability to lift 20 Lbs. on an infrequent basis.
