Job description

Duties of Registered Nurse / RN include:
Registered Nurse will provide, coordinate and direct the provision of home nursing care.

Requirements:

  1. Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  2. Speak and write English proficiently.
  3. Professional and engaging customer service skills.
  4. Typing, writing, and proof reading for accurate, on time clinical documentation.
  5. Reliable and flexible Clinician.
  6. Minimum 1-2 years Adult Home Health experience.
  7. Current CPR certification.
  8. Ability to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs.
  9. Wound care and Wound VAC experience.
  10. Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and auto liability insurance.
  11. Dually vaccinated for Covid-19.
  12. Flu Vaccinated.

Paid on a per visit basis. Flexible Schedule. Focused Area.

Job Duties:

1. Perform comprehensive assessments of clients status, including physical, psychosocial and environmental parameters.
2. Complete comprehensive assessments OASIS data set within forty-eight (48) hours.
3. Participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
4. Supervise LVN and CNA's, as applicable.
5. Record Plan of Care updates in an EMR - WellSky experience helpful.
6. Follow all The Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations for Home Care and nursing care.
7. Develop and follow an individualized Plan of Care that incorporates analysis of data and current scientific findings.
