Job description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and industry knowledge to effectively coordinate authorizations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required.
  • Flexibility to work from both an in-office setting and remotely from home in a secure location required.
  • Must have own high-speed internet at home.
  • Typing speed: 60 wpm
  • Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.
  • Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).
  • Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for review strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPAA, and PHI preferred.
  • Coding/billing experience preferred but not required.
  • Additional programs utilized but prior knowledge is not required (Perceptive Content Image Now, MS Access, Adobe and Altruista Guiding Care, Excel, Teams, OneNote).
