Job description

Actively Hiring Private Duty Registered Nurse, Per Diem

Hourly Pay Rate: $45-80 based on experience

Shifts: 2 - 4 hour Short Visits

Cheer Home Care is looking for a Registered Nurse who loves spending time with older adults and provide high quality care in home. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and provides constant feedback to clients, client representatives, and nurses. .

This position responsibilities will include:

  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring of chronic/acute conditions
  • Manage and monitor patients with complex needs (e.g., ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes)
  • Recognize early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately
  • Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and equipment use
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
  • Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control practices

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted California registered nurse license
  • 3 years of experience as a registered nurse
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • Proof of Negative TB result
  • Physical Screening Documentation within the last year
  • Active California Drivers license and car insurance
  • Cell phone with Internet Access
