Job Posting: Land Acquisition Manager for Luxury Custom Home Developer

Location: Houston, TX
Company Overview: We are a prestigious real estate development company specializing in creating luxury homes in existing high-end luxury neighborhoods. Our focus is on expanding our footprint in the Houston area in some of the top high-end neighborhoods in Houston, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Land Acquisition Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Identification and Acquisition: Proactively identify and secure land parcels within specified high-end neighborhoods in Houston, aligning with the company’s luxury home development vision.
  • Research and Analysis: Utilize advanced tools to pinpoint target properties that meet predetermined criteria. This includes harnessing data analytics for property identification.
  • Outreach and Negotiation: Initiate contact with property owners through various channels (phone, email, direct mail, etc.) and persuasively negotiate terms to facilitate property acquisition.
  • Closing and Title Management: Oversee the title and closing process, liaising with sellers, buyers, and investors to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide weekly updates on land acquisition activities and progress. Participate in regular company meetings to align with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Office Presence and Culture Fit: Work from the company’s office at least once a week, embracing our culture of transparency, fun, and hard work.
Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a proven track record in identifying and acquiring land for development purposes.
  • Real Estate/Broker's License: Must possess a valid Real Estate or Broker’s License in the state of Texas.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of land acquisition and development.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and engaging personality, with a natural ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
  • Passion for Real Estate: A genuine passion for real estate, particularly in searching and finding prime land for development.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field is preferred.
