Symitar programming involves developing and maintaining software solutions within the Symitar Episys core banking system, primarily used by credit unions. It requires knowledge of the Episys scripting language, SQL, and system customization to support financial operations and member services. Home Based Symitar Programmers often have the opportunity to work remotely, especially if they possess strong programming skills and are familiar with Symitar's core systems. Many employers in the financial technology sector offer remote positions, provided the programmer has reliable internet access and relevant certifications. However, some roles may require on-site presence for collaboration or system access.
