Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Unity Developer to join their collaborative development team focused on immersive training applications for Department of Defense clients. The role involves building VR and interactive software solutions and contributing to the full development lifecycle from prototyping to deployment.
Responsibilities:
• Experience with Unity development through coursework, capstone projects, game jams, or personal projects
• Experience with C# and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience building interactive 3D applications or games, including scene management, physics, and rendering pipelines
• Experience with VR or AR development, whether through a headset SDK, such as Meta Quest or HTC Vive, or academic work
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or Unity Version Control
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines with artists, designers, and producers and communicate technical constraints clearly
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with Unity development through coursework, capstone projects, game jams, or personal projects
• Experience with C# and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience building interactive 3D applications or games, including scene management, physics, and rendering pipelines
• Experience with VR or AR development, whether through a headset SDK, such as Meta Quest or HTC Vive, or academic work
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or Unity Version Control
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines with artists, designers, and producers and communicate technical constraints clearly
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or Game Development
Preferred:
• Experience with Unity 6.0 or newer
• Experience with project work in simulation, serious games, or training and learning application design
• Experience with multiplayer networking concepts, including client-server architecture or local networking
• Experience with Agile development methodology and sprint-based workflows
• Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira
• Experience developing for iOS or Android mobile platforms or standalone VR headsets
• Experience with Python scripting for tooling or automation
• Experience in defense, simulation, or enterprise software environments
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or build automation
