We also provide a wide variety of teacher licensure testing services such as test development, administration, and scoring. We work in a collaborative environment and are passionate about education.

We have immediate openings for candidates to score the subjects below remotely for our Hadley, MA office:
  • English 6-12
  • Middle Grade English 5-9

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher, and
  • A current teaching certification in the subject area you are applying for AND be practicing or have five (5) or more years' recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area you are applying for

OR
  • A bachelor's degree or higher, and
  • Hold or have held a position at a college, university or a community college in the same subject area that they will be scoring and have at least 5 years of teaching experience in the same subject area you will be scoring,

All scorers must be approved to score by the Florida Department of Education.
Both active and recently retired practitioners can be eligible to score provided you are available to work on a weekday from 8:30 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST.
  • Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Overall Responsibilities
  • Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates
  • Internalize scoring standards, participate in discussions, and engage with other scorers in scoring activities
  • Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program, including passing a qualifying test before scoring

Key benefits
  • Starting rate of $17.50 per hour

Working Conditions
Training takes place before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs.
Scoring sessions take place during the week Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur on one day, every 2 weeks. The scoring day runs from 8:30 AM to approximately 4:30 PM EST, including training. There are no evening or weekend shifts.
This position will start in fall 2026.
