• Conduct thorough initial assessments with clients, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances and challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various formats—one-on-one sessions, group therapy, or family counseling—using approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Perform ongoing evaluations of client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure efficient tracking of progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Engage in continued education and training opportunities to stay current with advancements in the mental health field, ensuring best practices are implemented in client sessions.

As an LPC at Mind Marvel Institute, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your approach will be client-centered, fostering an environment where clients feel safe to explore their feelings and experiences. Through personalized care, your interventions will facilitate meaningful change and growth, promoting overall mental wellness.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field, ensuring a solid foundation in mental health practices.
• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Colorado, allowing you to practice independently and effectively.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting where you have successfully applied therapeutic methods.
• Strong ethical standards and knowledge of legal regulations governing the practice of counseling, ensuring compliance in all client interactions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EMR systems to facilitate seamless service delivery and documentation.

• Specializations in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, family dynamics, or substance use disorders are highly beneficial, enabling you to address a broader spectrum of client issues.
• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, as it familiarizes you with remote counseling nuances.
