The Senior Software Developer supports the Combat Readiness Directorate in Heath, OH. The mission of the Combat Readiness Division is to provide unified, common solution product support, and strategic acquisitions that continuously enhance combat effectiveness. Conduct software analysis, including interfacing and performance analysis for both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products Provide hardware and software engineering support for embedded software, software interfaces, cryptographic systems, and interoperability across sensors, weapons, host platforms, communications, and command and control systems Perform software architecture reviews to assess design effectiveness and alignment with system requirements Evaluate and support software development processes to ensure efficient and effective software lifecycle management Assess configuration management (CM) processes and tools to ensure proper version control and traceability Evaluate and support software test systems and capabilities to verify and validate software functionality and performance Support system acquisition processes by applying knowledge of hardware and software integration at both system and subsystem levels Perform systems requirements analysis and allocation to ensure traceability between system needs and software design Assist in the testing and evaluation of systems and subsystems to validate functional and performance requirements Review, develop, and update software engineering-related program documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness Support the development of software engineering strategies, including the software development strategy and Software Development Plan (SDP) Apply understanding of aeronautical vehicle systems and/or airborne or ground-based systems to software engineering efforts Support avionics Operational Flight Program (OFP) capabilities as they relate to software engineering tasks within core engineering activities Proficient using Visual Studio programming environment developing web applications using ASP.Net (VB, C#, MVC), JavaScript HTML, css and Bootstrap Oracle Database experience to include: Database Design, ANSI SQL proficiency, SQL/PL experience, and Stored Procedure experience. Possess knowledge and experience in the full lifecycle of software engineering, including design, development, testing, evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and administration Understand and apply principles of computer systems architecture in support of system integration and software engineering tasks Proficient with Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
