Account Executive

Work Location: Palm Beach County (Loxahatchee, Florida)

Territory: Florida, with a primary focus in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties, including major markets such as Wellington, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Royal Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Plantation, Sunrise, Coral Springs, and Pompano Beach.

Position Overview

Spectrum Support Services is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Account Executive to drive business development and strategic partnerships throughout Florida. This individual will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding relationships with schools, special education programs, behavioral health providers, developmental disability organizations, residential providers, day habilitation programs, equine-assisted therapy centers, and other human service organizations.

The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional who understands the healthcare, education, behavioral health, developmental disability, and nonprofit sectors and has experience developing long-term client relationships.

Essential Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new client relationships throughout Palm Beach County, Broward County, and surrounding markets.
  • Travel extensively throughout designated territory to promote and sell the full range of Spectrum Support Services, including staffing solutions and equine services in the Loxahatchee, Florida area.
  • Generate new business opportunities with schools, school districts, residential and day programs, behavioral health and ABA providers, equine-assisted therapy organizations, nonprofits, and other community-based service providers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.


Client & Community Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and human resources leaders.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, networking events, conferences, and community outreach activities to expand market presence.
  • Serve as a trusted partner by identifying workforce challenges and delivering effective staffing and recruitment solutions.


Strategic Growth & Market Development

  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the education, healthcare, nonprofit, and developmental disability sectors.
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client staffing needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, activity, and forecasting reports.


Community Engagement & Brand Representation

  • Represent Spectrum Support Services at industry conferences, association meetings, networking events, and community programs.
  • Build partnerships with provider associations, advocacy organizations, educational institutions, and community leaders.
  • Promote Spectrum's mission, services, and commitment to workforce excellence throughout the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business development experience.
  • 5+ years of outside sales, business development, account management, healthcare staffing, educational staffing, or related sales experience.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout South Florida.
  • Ability to travel within a 2-hour radius of Wellington, Florida.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

Employment Requirements

  • Successful completion of background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
  • Completion and maintenance of required certifications and trainings, including CPR, First Aid, Handle With Care, and College of Direct Support (CDS) coursework.
  • Ability to remain alert and awake throughout all scheduled working hours.
  • Maintain reliable telephone access for scheduling and emergency communication.
