The Logistics Data Analyst will work to identify problem areas and budget deviations in the Company's transportation network. This position will collect and interpret data, identify faults, and prepare recommendations to save the company time and money.
Essential Accountabilities for the position are defined as:
  • Conducting transportation data analytics and cost research: providing reporting and data, achieving cost reductions, and communicate strategic recommendations
  • Managing third-party freight payment programs: auditing and resolving discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurately paid invoices, and making recommendations to reduce transportation costs and/or improving service
  • Owning applicable Transportation reporting and Freight Payment system(s): acting as the applicable Transportation/Freight Payment reporting system power-user, responsible for testing and validating new processes and system functionality, etc.
