Family Outreach Center (FOC) is hiring for a full- time master’s level therapist (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, etc.) that is primarily based at Godfrey- Lee Middle/High School to provide therapy, case management, crisis response, and group services in the school and community setting.

You will receive comprehensive and trauma-informed supervision that will equip you to strengthen the lives of the clients and families we serve, while building your clinical aptitude. Position Details: This is a year-round position in a school office setting. Primarily school hours but must have flexibility in schedule to meet with families after school as needed. The majority of a caseload is made up of students from your school site, with (2) Home Based cases from Kent County Community Mental Health (Network 180). Sessions are conducted in the school and home setting. We service clients at multiple levels of care (Home Based, Case Management, TF-CBT, and Outpatient levels) with client contact ranging from 5.5 hours per month to 2 hours per month, depending on their level of care. To ensure a healthy partnership with the school, time is given each week for school specific activities, such as running psycho-educational groups, attending student support meetings, assisting in a crisis, etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. assessing mental health and substance use disorders using the DSM-5 diagnostic code;

2. incorporating and maintaining a person/family centered treatment planning approach with children/families;

3. developing and implementing clinical interventions appropriate to the identified needs of the child/adolescent and family;

4. providing referrals for psychiatric, community, and other supportive services;

5. capable of working independently while maintaining an active case load;

6. ability to complete all required clinical reports within deadlines.

7. Partner with school staff and administration to address mental health needs and increase access to service, and create a positive mental health culture within the school.

8. Other duties as requested/delegated by supervisor/director.

Requirement for application: Education: Master’s (required) License: LLMSW or LMSW (or equivalent) State Licensure Other: Bilingual in in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
