Position Overview

Capstone Mind Wellness & Therapy is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. Work Environment

This role is designed for remote work, allowing you to provide therapy and support to clients from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support client progress.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and feedback, adjusting treatment strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for each client.
• Stay current with research and developments in mood disorder treatments, contributing to enhanced therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate, private client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development initiatives.
• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigmas and supporting their needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base often includes vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, who require compassionate, tailored interventions aimed at fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, respect, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance client caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with mood disorders and marginalized populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic frameworks and modalities to provide diversified treatment options.
• Prior experience in a community health setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• The competitive annual salary ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
