Job description

Salary: $17.13-$25 Hourly DOE

We are a well-established agricultural contractor actively seeking an experienced, motivated Construction Worker/General Laborer with a focus on sheet metal work. As we continue to grow, we need additional skilled labor to support long-term projects in agricultural development and commercial building erection. If youre passionate about working outdoors and in a collaborative, positive environment, youll thrive in our team. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience and a strong work ethic who can provide their own tools and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.

Duties&Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradesmen in executing construction tasks, with a primary focus on sheet metal installation
  • Operating various construction equipment.
  • Load & unload materials and equipment.
  • Erecting concrete forms, ramps, and scaffolding, mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete with shovels and trowels.
  • Clearing brush and debris from job sites and assisting with movement of and securing attachments to heavy equipment.


Qualification:

  • Experience with machinery such as pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers, nail guns, etc.
  • Were looking for a couple of years of experience, but are willing to provide training for the right fit.
  • You should have a clean driving record as well as a valid driver's license.
  • Able to pass a drug screen, as we do pre-employment and random testing.
  • Comfortable working in rural areas and all types of weather conditions.
  • You should be willing to travel out of town if needed and be prepared to stay up to a week out of town as the ability to travel is currently required based on our ongoing jobs.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Candidates should have a clean driving record to be insurable under our company policy and be able to pass a drug screen, as we do pre-employment and random testing.
