Job description

The CT Technologist – Multi-Modality at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI, is a permanent role focused on performing high-quality CT and general X-ray examinations in a hospital and emergency department setting. This position offers a competitive hourly wage, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, a no-weekend schedule with 10-hour day shifts, and a supportive, patient-centered work environment.


Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts
Hours: 70 hours per pay period — 1 week on / 1 week off
Weekend: None

On-Call: None

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT examinations for inpatient, outpatient, scheduled, and ED patients
  • Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and post-processing equipment
  • Position patients and acquire high-quality diagnostic images
  • Adjust CT protocols based on patient needs
  • Perform general X-ray/radiography exams as needed
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and maintain appropriate repeat rates
  • Obtain patient history and communicate relevant information to radiologists
  • Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort
  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures such as biopsies and abscess drainages
  • Follow age-specific guidelines and proper patient identification
  • Archive, retrieve, and manage imaging data
  • Stay current with new imaging procedures and technology

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT registered
  • Advanced CT registry/certification
  • 2-year allied health degree
  • 2 years of current full-time experience in both CT and X-ray
  • Experience must be in a hospital/Emergency Department setting

Pay

  • $20.67–$27.91/hour, based on experience
