Service Technician- 3D Printing Systems

Canton, MI

voxeljet is currently searching for a full-time Service Technician to support our 3D printing systems. This facility sells, supports, and operates printing systems and produces on-demand parts, mold, cores and models for a variety of industries using our range of 3D printing technologies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completed training as a technician working with electrical or mechanical systems
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
  • Experience working with automated machines
  • Enjoy investigating and troubleshooting systems such as steering, engines, pneumatics, electronics and mechanical assemblies
  • Must have a U.S. passport and be willing to travel
  • Comfortable using a laptop and general office tools
  • Very good oral and written skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Independent quality and target oriented working methods

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of systems at our Canton location and customer facilities throughout the U.S
  • Execution of necessary service and maintenance work
  • Phone and onsite support for the customer by analyzing errors and troubleshooting problems
  • Documentation of maintenance events
  • Assisting in the planning of systems location and layout in facilities
  • Train new users (operation, maintenance, software) at our facility and customer sites
  • Support the development department with potential improvements in the system
