Holyoke Medical Group (HMG) is a physician group practice affiliated with Valley Health Systems, Inc., the parent company of Holyoke Medical Center. HMG provides a broad range of physician services in offices conveniently located throughout Western Massachusetts. Services include adult primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, and walk-in care.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to treat patients in the office setting and to evaluate, treat and/or refer patients, as necessary and appropriate. PA provides documentation in the patient record including medical history, current examination finds and any treatment plans; orders x-rays and other diagnostic studies as needed; cares for and repairs minor wounds; evaluates soft tissue and/or bone injuries for further treatment; prescribes medications and appropriate therapies with the consent of the physician. Must be knowledgeable about health education, health prevention and treatment.  

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of a certified physician assistant program.  Current Physician Assistant licensure in Massachusetts.  Three years in a professional physician assistant role in an adult internal medicine practice environment.
