Job Description:

As a Caregiver at Holistic Home Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals within the comfort of their homes. You will be responsible for assisting clients with a range of daily activities, promoting their well-being, and ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to help clients maintain their personal hygiene and comfort.

  2. Medication Management: Assist clients with medication schedules, ensuring they take the right medications at prescribed times and monitoring for any potential side effects or issues.

  3. Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences, and ensure clients stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet.

  4. Light Housekeeping: Help with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organization, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

  5. Companionship and Social Engagement: Engage clients in conversation, activities, and outings to combat loneliness, promote mental and emotional well-being, and provide emotional support.

  6. Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with mobility issues, including walking, transferring in and out of beds or chairs, and using mobility aids like walkers or wheelchairs.

  7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, changes in the client's condition, and any concerns or issues, reporting to the supervisor as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred.
  • Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
