Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform diversified duties to ensure efficient operation of production packaging equipment Provide emergency troubleshooting of production equipment during production runs while working in tandem with Production Maintenance Mechanics and Production Managers to maintain efficiencyPerform machine set ups and changeovers while maintaining full compliance with food safety and quality standardsEnsure effective mechanical adjustments are made in a timely manner to avoid downtime and product wasteDiagnose minor issues, repair or work with mechanics to help repair equipment, test and make necessary adjustmentsUse a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment in performing dutiesComplete production and quality control paperwork with acute attention to detailMust be somewhat efficient in using a calculator or have a general knowledge of mathematics. Effective operation of computer, keyboard, mouse, and HMIEffectively communicate with members of staff at all levels in a professional mannerActively participate in company safety meetings and be a proponent of employee safetyFollow all GMPs and all other company quality and food safety programs as they relate to the production departmentMust be able to operate two packaging machines efficiently with minimal supervision.Must be able to operate all production jobs somewhat efficiently.
