You will work alongside clinicians, Clinical Engineering, Health IT, vendors, and operational leaders to maintain system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support innovative technologies that directly impact patient care and clinical outcomes.

Position Summary
The Senior Neurodiagnostic Biomedical Technician serves as the technical expert for neurodiagnostic equipment, software applications, network connectivity, and clinical system integration supporting Neurodiagnostic Services. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting networked neurodiagnostic technologies, including EEG, EMG, and associated clinical systems.
The position partners closely with Neurodiagnostic Services, Clinical Engineering, Health Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and vendor representatives to ensure system reliability, operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and exceptional support for clinical teams. The Senior Neurodiagnostic Biomedical Technician plays a key role in technology planning, workflow optimization, equipment lifecycle management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
Clinical Technology & Systems Support
- Serve as the primary technical resource for neurodiagnostic equipment, software platforms, and supporting technologies.
- Support EEG, EMG, and related neurodiagnostic systems to ensure reliable operation and optimal clinical performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network connectivity, interface, and integration issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact patient care or departmental operations.
- Coordinate technical support activities across Neurodiagnostic Services, Clinical Engineering, Health IT, and vendor partners.
- Support system upgrades, implementations, migrations, and technology enhancement projects.
Biomedical Engineering & Equipment Management
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of neurodiagnostic equipment.
- Maintain equipment performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
- Assist with equipment evaluations, technology planning, and replacement strategies.
- Ensure accurate maintenance records, service documentation, and asset tracking.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, investigations, and root cause analyses related to equipment or technology concerns.
- Collaborate with Clinical Engineering to support equipment standardization and operational excellence.
Health IT & Clinical Systems Integration
- Support connectivity and interoperability between neurodiagnostic equipment, clinical applications, and enterprise systems.

- Collaborate with Health IT teams on network connectivity, system interfaces, cybersecurity requirements, and change management processes.

Leadership, Training & Collaboration
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clinicians, leadership, and operational partners.
- Build strong working relationships across Neurodiagnostic Services, Clinical Engineering, Health IT, Operations, and vendor organizations.
- Mentor and support team members through knowledge sharing, training, and technical guidance.
- Develop and deliver education and in-service training related to equipment operation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
