Job description

Now Hiring as part of the ComForCare Dream Team On Call Weekend Warrior Position covering Lenawee/Jackson/Hillsdale counties in Michigan.
Hiring Immediately an experienced, compassionate and very dedicated and dependable Caregiver/CNA/ or Medical Assistant to join the Weekend Warrior Dream Team as a fully On Call Position working from Friday at 3pm until Monday at 7am On call covering the counties of Hillsdale / Lenawee /Jackson to provide hands on support for our clients in their homes.
How It Works:
The office On Call staff will reach out to you when there is a call off and you will be dispatched promptly to that location to provide care. You must be skilled at using lifts, taking vitals, emptying catheter bags, giving showers, changing briefs and pull ups, dressing, cooking meals, laundry, light housekeeping, possible transportation, medication assistance, getting weights, and any other tasks not mentioned that a client may need help with. You will be working from an app on your Smart Phone that will give u all the details as far as time of shift, map to get to shift, and details needed for care. You may be traveling from one end of the county to another county and back and forth as needed. You will be on call this entire time frame so you need to be someone who has extensive availability and can go with little rest or sleep in between shifts. You will need to have 1-2 years experience as a caregiver with an agency or nursing home experience, etc. You need to be able to work 2 weekends per month minimum. You will need to be comfortable taking care of a male or female and sometimes working in homes that are unclean or unkept. You are required to wear scrubs and look and be professional at all times. Please only apply if u r passionate about this kind of work and are hard working and dependable.
You will be paid at a rate of $200 for the weekend and you will be paid in addition to that a dollar amount of $17 per hour for the shifts you are actually asked to work and are clocked in and out for. You must answer every call promptly and be available at all times throughout your assignment.
You will need to complete required 7.75 hrs of Relias paid training before starting this position. You will have one day to complete that training. You will be paid bi-weekly with payday falling on Fridays. It will be direct deposited into your bank account.
There is a possibility of the use of a company vehicle.
Current ComForCare Jackson/Lenawee/Hillsdale caregivers need not apply.
