Job description

As a Financial Analyst within Commercial Finance Team, you will work in a regional team that provides exemplary finance decision support in the allotted practice area. The Financial Analyst will quickly take on significant responsibility and receive frequent exposure to senior customers. The individual will be expected to proactively contribute to enhance the financial performance of the firm, while providing support and leverage to the team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, pivoting calmly with multiple priorities and interrelated complex topics.
What You'll Do
  • Evaluating case economics, including project budgeting, forecasting, accounting, variance analysis, days sales outstanding and price realization
  • Provide financial analysis on project, client, and practice area levels
  • Assists in measuring results and ensures invoice, revenue recognition processes are followed
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business objectives and provide leverage to internal customers (case teams, Managing Directors & Partners, Finance Director, others)
  • Positively collaborates with a transaction support team in Costa Rica to ensure accuracy across invoicing, code opening, contract compliance and collection efforts
  • Participates in ad hoc reporting requests as well as supports regional and global initiatives as needed
  • Ensuring adoption of finance policies and highlighting potential risks
  • Back up other finance functions and team members as required

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • A minimum of 2 years of finance-related experience
  • Proactive, self-starter with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products with emphasis on Excel and PPT
  • Experience with AI Tools, Power BI, Tableau a plus
  • Experience in professional services environment a plus

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
  • In Atlanta the base salary is between $71,000- $88,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
  • In Dallas the base salary is between $73,000- $90,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
  • In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
  • 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
