What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents improve their functional abilities, regain independence, and participate in the daily activities that are meaningful to them.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based interventions focused on improving functional independence and quality of life.

  • Address activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, strength, cognition, and other functional needs.

  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and safety.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Current California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in good standing
