Our hospital, Commerce Veterinary Clinic, in Commerce, Texas is led by a very special veterinarian who loves to collaborate and teach. He found his dream hospital here is looking for a third associate to join him to do the same!Dr. Thompson is a born teacher and clinician. He's created a hospital that practices high level medicine in a very collaborative environment.  Everybody does everything when necessary.  Dr. Thompson derives great joy in seeing how many of his clients he runs into at Walmart!  This strong community feeling is shared by the other two veterinarians and his staff.  Commerce is the home of Texas A&M; it's 60 miles NE of Dallas.

Job Description

If you are an experienced veterinarian or a strong new graduate, consider joining us. If you are looking for a family feeling practice where everyone knows all the clients and their pets' names, where collaboration is the rule not the exception and want to play an important role in our community, consider joining us. We offer advanced dental training, soft tissue surgery, digital x-ray, ultrasound, IDEXX. Mentoring is highly valued. Retention is high with our lead tech being with us for 20 years and our receptionist for 15 years. We have had steady growth for the past ten years. There is no emergency call; there is an emergency facility 50 miles away. We support our local shelter and in some cases are able to offer low cost spays and neuters.

We offer generous compensation, medical insurance, $2000 continuing medical education and time off to attend a national meeting, two weeks' vacation, sick leave, all dues and licenses and relocation support.
