Job description

Yoder Learning Center is seeking multiple Intervention Specialist Teachers to join our team. We are a highly structured learning environment serving students with autism and other disabilities. We are looking for compassionate, flexible educators who are committed to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth in a supportive and student-centered setting.

Available Grade Bands

  • 1st-2nd Grade Classroom
  • 6th-8th Grade Classroom

Qualifications

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and related service providers
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Experience working with students with autism and/or behavioral needs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction and support based on students' IEP goals
  • Create and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment
  • Support students' academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student success
  • Maintain documentation and progress monitoring as required
