JOB TITLE: Retail Attendant

DEPARTMENT: Front Office / Store

REPORTS TO: Retail Manager/ General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Retail Attendant is responsible for executing retail operations at the marina with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The primary responsibility is to ensure each customer has an exceptional boating experience, addressing their needs with professionalism. The Retail Attendant projects a professional company image through all types of interaction. Given the fast-paced nature of the marina environment, the Retail Attendant should be able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Receive money for purchases and calculate customers change, may have to operate cash register depending on the marina
  2. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from vessels
  3. Greet customers courteously and sell merchandise to them
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Excellent customer service skills
  2. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills
  3. General accounting knowledge and basic understanding of financial statements
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifteen (15) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  3. Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season

$16.00 - $20.00
