Job description

What Impact You'll Have

We are seeking a highly secure, technically precise Onsite Senior VTC & AV Systems Engineer to join our team at our secure facility in Saint Louis, Mo. In this 100% onsite role, you will design, manage, and secure our mission-critical, high-availability Cisco Collaboration and Deployed Video Teleconferencing (DVTC) systems.
You will serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco TMS/CMM, VQ Conference Manager, and an integrated hardware ecosystem featuring Extron, AMX, Planar, ClearOne, and BrightSign technologies. Additionally, you will utilize ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus to manage ITIL incident tracking, room scheduling requests, and hardware asset lifecycles. Your expertise will ensure flawless, secure video operations and rapid technical resolution for executive-level, classified briefings.

What You'll be Owning

  • Unified Infrastructure Management: Oversee the provisioning, scheduling, and infrastructure administration of secure video endpoints using Cisco TMS, CMM, and VQ Conference Manager (VQ DMA).
  • VQ Automation & Migration: Utilize VQ Conference Manager to streamline device automation, maintain directory services, and support the ongoing operational transition from legacy TMS infrastructure.
  • Classified Session Management: Coordinate, schedule, and live-monitor multipoint, high-classification conferences, utilizing VQ tools and Cisco meeting bridges to ensure strict security compliance, policy controls, and optimal call quality.
  • Onsite Live Support: Provide high-touch, face-to-face technical support for executive-level briefings, secure command centers, and tactical operations rooms.
  • Hardware & Encryption Integration: Physically rack, stack, wire, and program Cisco codecs, camera tracking arrays and secure audio matrices.
  • Daily Security & Health Checks: Conduct strict daily, onsite physical and digital "pre-flight" inspections of all secure boardrooms to verify cryptographic baselines, firmware, and system readiness.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain exact, classified configuration baselines, system drawings, and cryptographic asset logs according to federal and DISA/DoDIN security compliance frameworks.

What You Must Have

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance, US Citizen
  • Work Location: 100% Onsite at our secure campus (No remote/hybrid scheduling available).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade Cisco Collaboration and VTC environments within a secure federal, DoD, or intelligence environment.
  • Platform Mastery: Advanced technical proficiency with Cisco TMS, Cisco Meeting Management (CMM), VQ Conference Manager (including VQ DMA/Metro), and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Technical Protocols: Deep understanding of physical audio-visual signal flow, secure VoIP architectures, firewall traversal protocols, and network routing (SIP, H.323, TLS).
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, install hardware behind equipment racks, and manage physical workspace cabling within tight data closets.
  • Certifications: Industry designations such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP Collaboration, AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), or CompTIA Security+ (for IAT Level II compliance) are highly preferred
