WHAT OUR LIFEGUARDS DO
Our Lifeguards are the heartbeat of water safety across the park. You'll monitor aquatic areas, respond quickly to emergencies, and partner with Aquatics leadership to keep every guest experience safe and enjoyable.
A LIFEGUARD'S DAY-TO-DAY
  • Monitor aquatic areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with Guests and eliminating hazards.
  • Enforce all safety and departmental rules while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
  • Educate Guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to.
  • Conduct safe and effective rescues in accordance with training and lifeguard certification protocols.
  • Maintain test-ready skills to always respond to emergencies.
  • Participate in all required in-service training to maintain lifeguard certification.
  • Be knowledgeable in completing live audits correctly.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisor immediately.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order before use.
  • Keep hip packs filled and prepared for emergency situations.
  • Utilize and understand whistle signals for effective communication with team members.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to maintain a safe and enjoyable Guest experience.
  • Remain alert and engaged throughout shifts to ensure a high level of safety awareness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations.

WHAT IT TAKES
  • Minimum age: 16 years.
  • Must pass Lifeguard training (provided by the company).
  • Must pass CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Strong swimming ability and endurance.
  • Ability to maintain focus and vigilance in a fast-paced environment.
