Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Milwaukie, OR

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and support services to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans and postpartum recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on high-risk patients preferred.
  • Certification in AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, and STABLE is required.
  • Experience with both labor and postpartum care, along with LDRP experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for this assignment.
  • Epic charting experience is required.
