40 Story- Tower | Mixed Use | $150M project
On-site in Miami, Florida
ttg Talent Solutions is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Project Manager for an established South Florida general contractor and construction manager. This project-embedded leader will take full ownership of a flagship mixed-use project valued at approximately $150 million, serving as the project general manager from preconstruction and buyout through final closeout.
Position Summary The Senior Project Manager will lead project delivery with accountability for schedule, profitability, contracts, procurement, change management, cash flow, safety, quality, client relationships, and team performance. The role requires significant autonomy and the ability to direct Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors. Professional fluency in English and Spanish required

Leadership Profile The successful candidate will be an autonomous, hands-on construction leader who combines technical depth with business judgment, urgency, integrity, cultural intelligence, and a firm-but-fair leadership style. This person must solve problems decisively, develop the team, and protect the client relationship without sacrificing project control.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination may be considered)
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in high rise construction
  • Demonstrated leadership of at least one commercial, mixed-use, multifamily, hospitality, or comparable vertical project valued at $100 million or more.
  • High-rise construction experience strongly preferred, ideally involving a project of approximately 30 stories or more (experience with projects at least 20+ stories will be considered.
  • Autonomous and Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Proven track record running preconstruction, buyout, critical-path scheduling, margin defense, cost-to-complete reporting, and closeout.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to lead owner meetings and contractual or financial discussions in both languages.
  • Open to candidates with experience managing $100M+ high-rise projects as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Owner's representative, Development Manager or related
  • Experience working with international owners, developers, investors, or executive stakeholders strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, estimating, procurement, contracts, change management, risk mitigation, forecasting, and closeout.
  • Proficiency with construction management platforms, Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office; proven experience supervising PMs and APMs.
  • Strong executive presence, judgment, communication skills, and willingness to work full-time on-site in the Miami area.
Key Responsibilities Project Execution
  • Lead the project from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safe, profitable, high-quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Direct Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers across contracts, submittals, RFIs, procurement, scheduling, financial reporting, and closeout.
  • Oversee prequalification, bid evaluation, scope development, subcontractor selection, buyout, and procurement.
  • Own the baseline and critical-path schedule, monitor impacts, and take immediate action when performance or procurement creates delay risk.
  • Maintain accurate project controls and ensure timely resolution of quality deficiencies and closeout requirements.
Financial, Contract, and Risk Management
  • Protect project margin and cash flow through disciplined forecasting, billing, cost-to-complete reporting, and subcontractor payment controls.
  • Manage contracts, notices, change orders, field directives, allowances, backcharges, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate scope, schedule, insurance, bonding, lien, safety, and subcontractor-performance risks before they affect project outcomes.
Client and Team Leadership
  • Serve as the principal owner-facing leader, maintaining proactive, no-surprises communication and professionally leading OAC and executive meetings.
  • Build productive owner and subcontractor relationships through a firm-but-fair, organized, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Coach and develop project personnel while establishing clear standards for accountability, urgency, professionalism, safety, and client service.
