Job description

Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Denver, CO

Hybrid: Flexible schedule; some staff come in 2 - 3 days a week

Role Summary: Looking for a strong Tax Manager with specialty in high net worth individuals as well as Estate, Gift, Trust & Flow Through Entity Taxation

Compensation: Up to 150k base + bonus + full benefits


We're a privately owned 150+ employee CPA firm based out of Chicago with operations out of Denver too. For 60+ years, we've organically grown by assisting clients across the US.


Role Responsibilities


  • Review variety of tax returns including individual, partnerships, S corporation, C corporation, trust, gift, estate and/or not for profit tax returns
  • Research tax issues and legislation and exercise professional judgement with respect to issue identification to develop solutions to tax issues
  • Assist with business development and firm marketing initiatives
  • Mentor, develop and retain staff through active participation in the firm mentoring program


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
  • CPA license
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Knowledge of CCH tax software
  • Specializing in high net worth individuals as well as Estate & Gift, Trust or Flow Through Entities


Compensation & Benefits


  • Competitive salary up to $165k
  • Bonus - annual discretionary up to 15%
  • Full benefits package
  • 5 weeks PTO
