Job description

Position Summary
The Lift Operator 1 is responsible for moving product through the warehouse and warehouse racking in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Efficiently pick guest orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Operate any one of the power industrial equipment such as Forklift, Order Picker, and Reach Truck in and around warehouse utilizing proper lifting techniques
  • Pull product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC's
  • Move product from Inbound Bins into the racks according product type and dimension
  • Relocate product from end caps and service area into racks
  • Efficiently pick customer orders. Select orders based on RF designated pick area
  • Ensure inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas
  • Scan merchandise prior to moving it to a different location
  • Stage product based on product and storage type
  • Utilize wire guidance and high pile storage
  • Carry or transport orders to the dock with material handling equipment
  • Able to operate radio frequency equipment
  • Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
  • Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
  • Maintain compliance by completing pre and post trip inspections
  • Maintain a clean work area and free from debris warehouse floor
  • Meet company standards for productivity
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Qualifications
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $17.75 - $23.05
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
