PHP Counselor - Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Location: High Focus Centers - Radnor, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time | Daytime Hours
Salary: $53,000-$55,000 annually

About High Focus Centers

High Focus Centers is a leading provider of outpatient mental health and substance use treatment throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Through specialized programs, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adults and adolescents experiencing mental health and co-occurring disorders.

We are seeking a dedicated PHP Counselor to join our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Radnor. This position provides direct clinical care and plays an important role in supporting clients as they work toward improved mental health, stability, and overall wellness.

As a member of the treatment team, you'll collaborate with other clinical professionals to provide individualized, evidence-based care in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and evaluate clients to determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Develop DSM-5-TR diagnoses and collaborate with the treatment team to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain an active caseload and provide consistent, client-centered care throughout treatment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case consultations, and clinical discussions.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically appropriate.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, clinical, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic treatment environment.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Support continuity of care and assist with discharge planning and appropriate referrals.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Previous experience working in an Adult PHP, IOP, or similar behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health treatment practices.
  • Experience completing clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining clinical documentation.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
