Job description

Grace Animal Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our multi-doctor team. We are an AAHA-accredited, small animal and exotic hospital located in beautiful Bridgeport, West Virginia, and are in the process of building a brand new 8,500 sq ft facility.

About Us:

We are a full-service, well-equipped, and progressive 4-doctor practice. While most of the patients we see are canine and feline, we also see small mammals, reptiles, birds and poultry. Experience with avian and exotics species is welcomed but not required for this position.

Position Overview:

Any experience level is welcome, and mentorship opportunities for new graduates is available. We love to teach and always try to promote a positive learning environment and collaboration among our team of doctors.

Our ideal candidate is one who is passionate about practicing evidence-based and high-quality medicine, who is committed to personal growth and development, has excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Work Schedule:

We believe that a proper work-life balance is very important. Our full-time doctors are scheduled four days each week; three days are dedicated to appointments, and the fourth is dedicated to surgery +/- appointments. Each of our doctors are on a two-week rotating schedule which allows three consecutive days off every other week. We do not take after-hours emergencies and are closed on Sundays and all major holidays. At this time, we are also closed on Saturdays, however plan to reopen Saturday appointments once in our new facility. Saturdays will also be on a rotating schedule, with the shifts shared between all doctors.

Compensation:

$100K – $150K base salary. Salary based on qualifications and experience
