Job description

Description
We are adding to our team of Veterinary Assistants & Technicians! If you are looking to take your veterinary career to the next level, we want to talk to you! We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, eager to learn, & thrives in a tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe handling & restraint of animals
  • Obtain vital signs & medical history
  • Assist in performing diagnostics
  • Dispense and administer medications and preventatives
  • Maintain case files and communications
  • Cleaning and restocking exam rooms, treatment, and kennel areas
  • Ability to communicate with all types of people in all situations
  • Comfort, support, and educate pet owners
  • Effective communication with your team


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • LVT preferred OR 3+ years of progressive experience
  • Extensive surgical monitoring and training are a must
  • Ability to set up and read ear cytology, fecal, and run labwork (Heska exp a plus) 
  • Take x-rays with accuracy
