Job description

Purpose:

Ensure the lot is retail ready, organized, free from clutter with machines properly displayed, priced, and clean. Assist in locating, staging and loading machines that will be shipped to another Heritage Tractor location or delivered to customers. Help unload and properly place machines arriving from customers, manufacturers, and other HTI locations. Responsible for keeping the grass mowed and making sure the lot looks professional and inviting to customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Keep the display lot organized, free from clutter with machines properly displayed, priced and clean
  2. Find, stage and assist in loading machines that will be shipped from the location
  3. Assist in unloading incoming equipment from customers, manufacturers and other HTI locations
  4. Keeping the warehouse organized and accessible
  5. Responsible for keeping the grass mowed, snow and ice removal that ensures safe passage for customers and employees
  6. Always safely execute the job functions of the position
  7. Other duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must be a certified forklift operator  
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Physical requirements include occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
