Job Summary:
The Production Operator on the Mold Line is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining molding equipment used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards while supporting production goals and maintaining a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate molding machines and related production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load raw materials into machines and monitor molding processes.
  • Inspect molded products for defects, dimensions, and quality standards.
  • Trim, assemble, package, or label finished products as required.
  • Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with machine setup, mold changes, and line changeovers when needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance, and quality departments to meet production targets.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Experience with molding equipment or plastic injection molding is a plus.
  • Ability to read work instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required.
