Work Environment

As a remote service provider, you will need to set up a personal workspace that allows you to maintain a professional atmosphere while fostering a therapeutic relationship with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapy to individuals, couples, and families seeking outpatient services, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
• Conduct in-depth client assessments to evaluate relational dynamics and mental health histories, formulating personalized treatment plans and realistic goals based on findings.
• Utilize family systems theory and systemic interventions to navigate complex family structures and communication challenges.
• Respond promptly to client needs through crisis intervention techniques, ensuring clients’ safety and emotional stability.
• Maintain detailed confidential records, treatment plans, and progress notes that comply with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record systems for documentation.
• Empower clients through structured education on communication strategies, conflict resolution, and coping mechanisms to enhance their overall well-being.
• Collaborate consistently with other mental health professionals including psychiatrists and social workers to create an integrated and comprehensive care plan for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated on current research and best practices in marriage and family therapy to refine therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a variety of client demographics including adults, couples, and adolescent populations, navigating unique challenges such as marital discord, familial disputes, and emotional distress. An understanding of diverse backgrounds will allow you to approach sessions with a culturally sensitive lens, enhancing therapeutic rapport and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona or the state where you practice.
• A Master's degree or a higher qualification in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing therapy, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Experience in outpatient therapy settings is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Commitment to ethical practice and the confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the diverse needs of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and virtual consultation methodologies.
• Experience working with diverse populations and varying socio-economic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also provide a sign-on bonus to newly hired therapists as a warm welcome to our team.
