Job description

You will serve as a SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE COORDINATOR in the Office of Force Resiliency of MARINE CORPS AIR STN CAMP PEN.Qualifications:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide non-clinical response that is trauma related, gender responsive, culturally competent, and recovery oriented for both military and civilian; inform victims of the resources available and manage reports of retaliation, reprisal, ostracism, maltreatment, and sexual harassment: develop and collaborate with stakeholders on public awareness campaigns and community outreach events; and plan, schedule, and deliver comprehensive training for a diverse audience to cover SAPR policies, procedures, reporting options and other topics.

You will be required work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, in an on-call or rotational basis. The on-call or rational status requires varied work hours, to include a requirement to be available 24/7, to respond to the following, but not limited to: calls received via the helpline, from military/civilian law enforcement, from treatment facilities or local hospitals.
You will be required work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, in an on-call or rotational basis. The on-call or rational status requires varied work hours, to include a requirement to be available 24/7, to respond to the following, but not limited to: calls received via the helpline, from military/civilian law enforcement, from treatment facilities or local hospitals.Education:Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess
Basic Requirements:
  • Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position OR
  • Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR
  • Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
