Job description


  • The General Labor (Production Assistant) accomplishes a variety of functions within the operation to ensure that safety, quality, productivity, and communications standards are met and maintained. Production Assistants will work in all areas of the facility and perform a variety of tasks within the production areas. This can include machine operations, maintenance, inspecting and packing product, moving materials, production reports, maintain “Good Manufacturing Practices” to maintain certification standards, and all other duties as assigned.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain workflow of material and production within facility
  • Ensure information is communicated between shifts
  • Move materials within plant, loads/unloads vehicles
  • Ensure WIP product is appropriately identified and located
  • Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules
  • Perform proper and required maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Starting wage is $18.05/hr $1.00/hr shift differential.


Required Skills

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is REQUIRED
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Mechanical skills
  • Forklift/power dolly/lift experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
