Job description

Assistant Machine Operator
Location: Catawba
Pay Rate: Starts at $19 an hour
Schedule: Must be flexible to train on 1st shift
12-hour night shift | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
4 days on / 4 days off (includes weekends & holidays)
Start Date: TBD

We are seeking a dependable Assistant Machine Operator to support production line operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting with machine operation, monitoring production quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in operating manual and automated machines
  • Monitor machines for safe and efficient operation
  • Inspect product for quality and defects
  • Load/unload raw materials and finished product
  • Record production and scrap data
  • Label finished products and complete basic production reports
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Use forklift or pallet jack as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous machine operator or helper experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs (up to 75 lbs force)
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety standards
