Job description

We are seeking experienced sewing machine operators for a client in Taylorsvlle, NC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Operate automated Tatum sewing machines to produce products according to specifications.

· Operate manual Juki industrial sewing machines to complete sewing operations and specialty work.

· Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and product specifications.

· Set up machines and make minor adjustments for different product requirements.

· Inspect materials before sewing to ensure they meet quality standards.

· Monitor machine performance and identify sewing defects or equipment issues.

· Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.

· Maintain consistent production rates while meeting quality expectations.

· Measure and inspect finished products to verify they meet customer specifications.

· Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

· Follow all company safety procedures and quality control requirements.

· Assist in other production areas as needed.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is preferred.
