MACHINE OPERATOR @ Automann
3rd shift: 10 PM - 6 AM
About the Company:
We are a global distributor of aftermarket truck and trailer parts. We sell to regional warehouse distributors and repair shops throughout the USA and other countries. We also manufacture most of our components.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive material from our suppliers, ensure it's the right product and properly document its arrival in our warehouse.
• Work with our leadership team to organize our products within the warehouse on the appropriate racks so it is stored in the most efficient way. This helps us be more effective in fulfilling customer orders.
• Based on pick tickets, pull and organize material that needs to be transferred to our satellite locations or is going to be picked up by our customers.
• Ensure that shipments are properly documented so our Purchasing Department can maintain the right levels of inventory.
• Operate a Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck to accomplish many of the tasks above.
• Help out with general building maintenance to ensure we maintain a clean warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma/GED required
Ability to undertake physically challenging jobs which include standing for long periods of time, walking throughout the warehouse and lifting of material up to 50 LBS.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 2 years' experience within a warehouse environment ideally in a fast-paced environment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years' experience operating Raymond equipment with a solid safety record to include:
• Operating a variety of material handling equipment, specifically Stand-Up, Reach
• Experience in use of Order Picker
