Job description

Be a part of a world class team maintaining a world class golf course at Dallas National Golf Club.
Job Responsibilites
  • Operate mowers and other lawn equipment for trimming greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edge cart paths; edge, rake and maintains sand bunkers.
  • Set tee markers and cups on greens daily; remove debris; sand and seed tee and drop area divots; clean flower beds.
  • Water and fertilize tees, greens and fairways, and under direct supervision of a certified applicator, sprays chemicals on landscaped areas.
  • Help in project work; assist in the construction of certain projects including but not limited to: new greens, tees and fairways, drainage, sod, seed bed preparations, etc.
  • May be asked to operate mowers, dump trucks, or other light equipment.
  • Perform other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.

Requirements
โ€ข Previous golf course experience is preferred
โ€ข Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape area construction/maintenance work.
โ€ข Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
โ€ข Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
โ€ข Physical strength, stamina and agility.
โ€ข Ability to follow oral and written directions.
โ€ข Possession of a valid driver's license.
