Job description

As a Golf Project Crew, you will support golf course construction and renovation projects within our Golf Division. This role focuses on installing, rebuilding, and enhancing golf course features such as tees, greens, bunkers, fairways, and landscaped areas. The ideal candidate enjoys physically demanding outdoor work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is eager to contribute to high-quality golf course construction projects in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with golf course construction and renovation projects including grading, shaping, sod installation, planting, bunker construction, and site preparation on a team of 2-5 employees
  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, trenching, hauling materials, and compacting surfaces
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively under supervision
  • Support installation of irrigation components, drainage systems, and landscape features
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites during and after construction activities
  • Follow all safety procedures, job plans, and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with crew leaders, equipment operators, and project managers
  • Represent the company professionally on active golf course construction sites
  • Cutting or installing turf using a variety of landscaping tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Planting, grooming and maintaining plant material
  • Performing site cleanup duties which includes but is not limited to clearing and disposing of trash and organic material.
  • Maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude with internal and external clients.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to learn construction techniques and follow direction from crew leaders
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Punctual, dependable attendance and commitment to job safety
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, weekends, or extended hours as needed
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in landscaping, golf course construction, site work, or outdoor construction
  • Familiarity with grading, sod installation, bunker work, or irrigation installation
  • Experience working on golf courses, athletic fields, or large outdoor projects
  • Basic equipment experience (skid steer, compactor, trenchers, etc.)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Interest in advancing into equipment operator, crew leader, or golf construction specialist roles
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check
